Electrical Trenching & Conduit
We trench and run underground electrical infrastructure across Palm Beach County — trenching, PVC conduit, junction boxes, handholes, and transformer pads. We handle whole-community build-outs, data line runs, EV charger feeds, high-end residential, and commercial projects. We’re not the electrician — we don’t pull wire or make connections — but we handle everything that happens before the wire goes in the pipe.
We’re licensed building contractors (CBC#1270161). For projects where FPL releases materials, we can pick up the materials directly from FPL with a materials release form. One less trip for you, one tighter schedule.

What We Install
- Electrical trenches — dug to code depth (typically 18″ in conduit, 24″ direct burial) or per engineer spec
- PVC conduit — schedule 40 or 80, sized per plan
- Junction boxes and pull boxes — inline on long runs or at turn points
- Handholes — from small pull boxes up to traffic-rated vaults
- Transformer pads — precast or poured-in-place concrete pads for pad-mount transformers
- Backfill, compaction, and marker tape — to subgrade spec
- Surface restoration — asphalt patch, sod, or hardscape match
How We Run the Work
- Locate existing utilities — call in locates, verify clear dig
- Lay out the run — stake per plan, confirm depth and pathway
- Trench — to code depth plus bedding
- Lay bedding — sand or pea rock per spec
- Install conduit — glued joints, sweeps at bends, marker tape on top
- Set boxes and pads — handholes, junction boxes, transformer pads as the run requires
- Backfill and compact — in lifts to subgrade spec
- Surface restoration — ready for the electrician to pull wire
Projects We’ve Handled
- Whole-community electrical build-outs (new residential subdivisions)
- Data line runs between buildings and site nodes
- EV charger feeders from panel to charger location
- High-end residential service upgrades and site lighting
- Commercial site electrical, parking lot lighting, generator-to-panel feeds
What We Don’t Do
We stop at the pipe. We don’t pull wire, land terminations, or wire anything together — that’s licensed electrician work and we stay in our lane. We don’t install ground rods. We don’t do directional boring — we open-cut trench. If a project absolutely needs a bore, we coordinate with a boring sub.
We also don’t do pool equipment trenching. That’s usually hand work and falls inside the pool contractor’s scope.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you pick up materials from FPL?
Yes. When FPL releases project materials (conduit, handholes, transformer pads, etc.) with a materials release form, we can pick them up and deliver to site as part of our scope. Saves you a logistics trip.
What’s the standard trench depth?
Code standard is 18″ of cover for wiring in conduit and 24″ for direct-burial cable, but project specs vary. Most commercial and utility-grade runs specify deeper — sometimes 36″ or more for primary feeders. We trench to whatever depth the engineer or utility specifies.
Do you install transformer pads too?
Yes. Precast concrete pads or poured-in-place, sized and rated per the transformer spec. We prep the sub-base, set the pad, tie in the conduits, and leave it ready for the utility to set the transformer.
Can you handle community-scale projects?
Yes. We’ve done whole-community residential build-outs — full underground electrical infrastructure from the utility drop through every lot. Same crew, same equipment, just scaled to the job. Tell us the scope and we’ll schedule it.
What conduit do you use?
Whatever the plan calls for — typically schedule 40 PVC for most residential and light commercial, schedule 80 for heavier duty or where direct impact protection is needed. Sweeps at bends, glued joints, marker tape on top of the pipe before backfill.
Do you do directional boring?
No. We open-cut trench. If a project absolutely needs a bore — crossing under mature trees or existing pavement that can’t be disturbed — we coordinate with a boring sub.
What about grounding?
We don’t install ground rods or do any grounding work. That’s the electrician’s scope — they ground the system when they terminate and energize.
Do you coordinate with the electrician on schedule?
Yes. We time the trench and conduit work so the electrician can come in right behind us to pull wire and land terminations. Backfill happens after their inspection on most projects, so we coordinate closing the trench around their schedule.
